Buenos Aires Literary

We invite you to explore Buenos Aires from the writers who inhabited it.

The Literary City Tour is proposed as a way to associate the streets of Buenos Aires with the authors who frequented them, who lived there essential parts of their lives, who wrote about them in their fictional books, in their diaries and letters.

In short, a Buenos Aires that was marked by literature and that is intimately associated with what certain writers made of it.

The proposed authors are Jorge Luis Borges, Roberto Arlt, Julio Cortázar, Witold Gombrowicz and María Elena Walsh.

A guide will accompany the participants in the tour, talking with them about each of the authors and their link with the observed points.

There will be permanent mentions and references to literature, confronted all the time with Argentine history and the way in which it is represented in the name of the streets, monuments, architecture, urban development, etc., making the journey an entertainingand interactive talk between the participants and the guide.

The tour lasts approximately two hours and can be by bus or on foot.

The date and the way to book the tour will be informed closer to the beginning of our Congress.
