ATTENTION

As you all know, due to the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the WAP Bureau, with the Council’s approval, decided not to hold the 12th WAP Congress in Buenos Aires this year.
The 2020 registrations will be valid for the 12th/13th Congress, which will be held in Paris in April of 2022.
If you prefer, you can request a refund of your registration fee, writing to [email protected]. In order to be processed, all refund requests must be submitted before December 23, 2020.

We inaugurated this section with a class from the unpublished Course of Jacques-Alain Miller L'Un tout seul who authorized its publication for our website.

PRESENTATION

1900 is the year that marks the beginning of psychoanalysis: Freud publishes The Interpretation of Dreams.

READINGS

This section is inspired by different quotes from Jacques-Alain Miller that have been chosen because of their relationship with the theme of the Congress. Members of the WAP will be invited to read one of these quotes and prepare a text to discuss it.

ONIRIA

What is the use artists have made of the content of their dreams, even their nightmares? How has this been embodied in the various artistic expressions, literary, plastic, visual, musical, corporal, etc.?

AWAKENING

It is the privileged section for analysts to talk vividly and contribute to the elaboration of knowledge about the theme of the Congress. For this purpose, interviews will be conducted with different members of the WAP.

INVENTORY

In this section, AE and ex AE will be invited to transmit to us the place their dreams have had in their analysis, what use they have made of them and what place they have after the end of analysis.

WAKEFULNESS

The swiftness of the developments proposed by science and technology as they intersect with the laws of the market put within easy reach new devices that transform our daily realities. Do these transformations reach also our dreams?
